If Erika's sweets were any indication, her Feast for the day was on its way to being quite the delectable smorgasbord. Her Valyr was stealing bits all throughout the day, creating a small dragon hoard of goodies.

Clayton had been working on his own Feast, full of unpleasant surprises and spooky creations. His Swumpy aided him as it was able but soon lost interest in Clayton's culinary endeavors.

The Swumpy soon found an outlet for his boredom when he spied Erika's Valyr and formed a mischievous plan. 
All he needed was a pie...
 
Clayton was unwittingly obliging, as a chocolate pie was sitting on the windowsill to cool in time for dessert.  The Swumpy filched the pie and took careful aim.... 

And the Valyr took a direct hit.

Not to take this sort of treatment lying down, the Valyr took careful stock of her stores of feasting goodies.
Selecting a dish of sweet potatoes, topped with marshmallows the Valyr snuck closer to Clayton's shop and hurled the dish at the Swumpy, who in turn ducked.
Clayton took the sweet potatoes straight to the face!
 
Clayton spied the Valyr, scampering back to Erika's shop and took stock of his own array of food that could be used as likely ammo.

"Perfect, " he thought and made his way to Erika's shop where she was contentedly humming as she pulled a pie from the oven.

She turned just as her Valyr ducked behind her shoulder and took a face full of smashed taters to the face!

"CLAYTON!" She exclaimed, still holding her rapidly cooling pie in hand. Erika did not even clean the taters off her face before charging out of the shop in pursuit, and she took careful aim at Clayton's backside and let fly.

Unfortunately, Gordon at the moment had taken a stroll through the village with his Dandileo, and the pie found a different mark. 

The three shopkeepers stood in the square, eying each other while their pals took shelter behind their forms. Without a single word, Clayton, Erika, and Gordon retreated from the square, determination etched on each face.

If they wanted a food fight, they would get a food fight.

It's Friday the 13th!


Which means Jinx are available for creation once again. If you missed the Lanturnacht release, now is your chance!

Jahzara watched the Jinx child pacing nervously just beyond the reach of her fire’s light. She’d noticed his presence several minutes ago, but had ignored him except to keep track of his movements. He would come forward when he was ready. This particular visitor hardly seemed old enough to have searched out her campsite, buried as it was deep within the Darkwood Hollow. The storyteller went about her nightly routine, setting up her table and crystal ball, settling her chair and a second across from it. One never knew when the curious would seek her out, and it was always better to be prepared to welcome someone. 

The crunching of leaves caught the Cheran’s attention, and she turned to see the child leaving. Apparently, he had lost his nerve. It seemed a shame to allow him to leave without the story he’d searched for. It was not an easy journey to reach this place. “Why have you come?” she demanded of the Jinx, her voice sharp as it broke the silence.

The young one nearly jumped out of his skin, his eyes wide and round as he turned and stepped hesitantly into the firelight. His feathers were just beginning to take on their adult blue hue, for now he retained the black and purple coloring all Jinx were born with. “I want to know about the curse,” he stammered, hesitating to come closer until Jahzara motioned to the empty chair across from her. “My friends’ parents always take them away when they see me playing with them, because of the Jinx curse.”

This made Jahzara frown. “Has no one told you of your ancestry?” she demanded of him, her scowl deepening when he shook his head no. “Very well, then, boy. I will tell you what you wish to know.” As she settled back into her chair, her voice took on the hypnotic quality that it always did when she told her stories.

The new Treasured Vending Token can be used to choose your item from the vending machine.
It has staggered pricing.
1st token- 25mp
2nd token- 50mp
3rd token- 75mp
Total price for 3 tokens is equivalent to 50mp each.
This gives every member an avantage if they only wish for one item.
You cannot purchase another token until you've used the one you bought.

They will reset every month. You cannot purchase in the new month until you use up any previously bought Treasured Token.

There was some concern that the blessed pets would be missed below the raffle!

As Lanturnacht drew to a close, Pandoria encountered a lone Jinx, staring up at the moon. 
"The Blood Moon has passed, and I do not know when it will return. I miss it Pandoria." 
This simple plea moved the guardian of Mistica's heart, and her magic swelled within her.

As the magic dimmed, the Jinx flung his head to the sky triumphantly as he reveled in his new form.

However,  this was not the only heart in Mistica that cried out for Pandoria's assistance. After leaving the Blood Moon Jinx, she happened upon a belragoth, seemingly lost in her reverie as she surveyed the night time skies of Mistica. 

The belragoth was startled and ducked her head low in obeisance to the goddess. 
"Forgive me Pandoria, for the beauty of the night fills me with wonder. I long to take to the skies and fly higher than any other belragoth has ever done. To soar among the stars."

Pandoria smiled serenely and once more her magic found its way to fulfilling another heart's wish.

The heavens of Mistica had a new star, to inspire wonder and awe.
