This Month in Mistica is a quick guide to everything that’s happened on site in the past month. Whether you’re new and want a better idea of what goes on here, an older user who’s returning, or simply too lazy to read the news, this article has all -- okay, most -- of the information you need!

June brought the return of our monthly contests, updated so even more of you can participate! Conjuring was introduced, a sort of do-whatever-you’re-good-at contest, and Art and Writing were brought back as usual. The June Kohal was also released, and this writer is pretty sure the sun decided to turn up the heat for no good reason.

The 2nd had the usual monthly Vending Machine and Credit Shop updates.

On the 3rd we introduced a whole new kind of pet: Blessed Pets. These very special Misticpets have been picked out by the goddess Pandoria herself, and are different from any other themed pets available. Every month a new Blessed Pet will be released. See the news post for specific details on how to obtain one, and to see the very first Blessed Obsideon!

Two days later the Jade Emporium received its monthly stock update and changed locations.

It’s not lovebug season anymore but summer heat seems to bring out all the six-legged critters, and they all seem to want to bite you. To fend them off, go to Sizzling Décor and grab a few of the new Citronella Candles!  For those of us who don’t want to be eaten or burned alive, two new books were released, and if you really feel the need to venture outdoors a new floral avatar is waiting!

On the 10th the Cirrus and Nimbus Cheran were released.

The 13th saw a whole new feature introduced, Pal Adventure! A pal of your choosing gets 10 chances every day (15 for Champions) to roam about and find special, exclusive pals, food and other treasures.

A “Like Me!” feature was added to pet pages on the 18th, per member suggestion.

Two days later piles of feathers were found while exploring with pals. I wonder why?

In celebration of Father’s Day, the adorable Pa and Pip pal was released!

Darkwood Hollow received a lovely revamp on the 23rd, and three new pals were discovered there.

The next day Daydream and Nightmare Yehxils were released.

On the 27th there was an account clearing and the Wishing Well granted several users their wish!

On the 28th, in addition to the usual Sunday raffle and reminders, a new avatar was released.

Summer has definitely hit Mistica full force! Many new things were discovered this month, but all has been quite peaceful. It looks like all the sunlight is keeping the baddies at bay, but for how long?
