Come Down to the 30th Annual Candy Corn Festival!
Written By Fallout

Misticans, come on down to the annual Lanturnacht Candy Corn Festival! Sponsored by Jasper's Circus, the festival is a celebration of the popular candy that everyone gives out on Lanturnacht but few will actually eat. This year the Candy Corn Festival is celebrating its 30th year of ongoing festivities. To celebrate thirty straight years of candy corn, this year the first thirty visitors to the festival will win a free T-shirt and a large bag of candy corn. All others will receive smaller bags of candy corn and a free coupon for half off a circus game of choice. Highlights of the festival include the daily candy corn-eating contest, the traditional Candy Corn Festival Cook Off, and the ever popular Candy Corn Sculpture Contest.

Are you one of the minority who loves to eat candy corns? Did you or your pet devour the entire jumbo bag of candy corn that you got at one of the many candy vendors before you even had a chance to make it halfway to the petting zoo? Sign up for one of our eating contests, held daily at 3pm! Sign ups start around noon and end half an hour prior to the contest. Anyone can join and winners will receive free day passes to Jasper's Circus!

Perhaps you prefer cooking? Sign up for the Candy Corn Festival Cook Off, to be held all day on the second Friday of the month. All are invited to attend and taste samples of the creative recipes, to be voted on by a team of judges that include the previous victors Harry Haruba, whose candy corn ice cream recipe has become popular amongst candy corn enthusiasts everywhere, and Chef Gordon, famous for his world renowned Candy Corndon Bleu!

Last but not least is the famous Candy Corn Sculpture Contest! Featuring a wide variety of misunderstood artists creating sculptures out of bricks of ancient, leftover Lanturnacht candy corn, patrons are invited to come and view the sculptures on display and vote on their favorites. Winners will be announced the final week of the festival and have their sculpture preserved and immortalized in the Mistican Gallery of Weird, Misunderstood Art.

So come on, Mistica! Grab your candy bags and come celebrate your love for everything candy corn!
