Frozen Treats Review
Written By Lugia

Have you ever found yourself wondering how to beat the summer heat? Been forced to stay inside all day because it was your only refuge from the blazing sun? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then look no further. In this article, I will be analyzing Mistica's frozen treats -- from tasty to plain out weird -- so get ready for a wild (but delicious) ride.

10. Fancy Jellyfish Ice Cream

Don't be fooled by this treat's uncanny name -- it's actually good! If it's your first time trying one, however, be wary of the slimy consistency. I'd suggest stopping by Spooky Creations and picking up one of Clayton's slimed cupcakes to accustom yourself to the texture. Or, if you're an adventure-seeker, feel free to tackle this cone head-first.

9. Radioactive Popsicle

While we're still floating around in the realm of strange creations, I'd like to take a moment and spotlight the Radioactive Popsicle. While Officer Coppa might say otherwise, this frozen treat definitely tastes better than it looks. At a glance, it may seem like a wise idea to wipe the toxic-looking slime that coats the surface off, but don't do this. Trust me, it tastes delicious; just disregard the fact that it will leave the inside of your mouth glowing neon green for hours.

8. Chocolate Ice Cream

Ah, nothing says comfort like a big bowl of chocolate ice cream. The creamy, rich texture will leave you wanting more. Good thing there's a whole gallon, right?

7. Nooki Pop

Now, this may sound strange, but did you know that Tarinookis taste like hazelnut and grape? Before you call the authorities, let me clarify. The beauty that is a Nooki Pop tastes like hazelnut and grape, not the actual pet. (Although I can't be sure that real Tarinookis do not taste that way.)

6. Watermelon Fruit Pop

What says summer more than watermelon? Iced watermelon. Even though it appears to be an ordinary piece of watermelon on a stick, it's much more than that. It is symbolic of everything summer stands for. Sugar, popsicle sticks, and freezer burn.

5. Coral Sundae

I've got to hand it to the chefs down in Sango Reef -- they know how to make a good sundae. I don't know what ingredients they use (and quite frankly would like to keep it that way), but they somehow managed to make the creamy and soft textures mingle in a way I would've never thought imaginable. Go try this sundae. And get me one while you're at it.

4. Iced Chocolate

Have you ever sat by the hearth with a nice, frothy cup of Iced Chocolate? No? Then you haven't lived.

3. Deluxe French Vanilla Malt

This drink is undoubtedly worthy of the title 'deluxe'. Just look at it! The swirly whipped cream and perfectly-placed cherry are just there to decorate the masterpiece that is a Deluxe French Vanilla Malt; because the truly deluxe part is the malt itself.

2. Glacier Sundae

The perfect size for three (or in my case one), ideal for those times when you need to amp up the flavor at any party. Just be sure to slip out the door when the ice cream starts to dwindle; I wouldn't want to be caught in the battle for the last scoop!

1. Fiery Ice Cream

Well, after visiting every corner of Mistica and listing treats you can (and should) add to your next shopping list, I've decided that sometimes, when you're feeling like your ordinary frozen treat really will not cut it, or itching to have new dessert options, grab one of my favorite indulgences. Either you love this flaming cone or you're completely wrong. For those reluctantly gazing at its fiery exterior -- trust me, after eating one, you'll thank me. I hope you don't ignore my advice; someday, the crackling sound this treat emits will stimulate nostalgic memories of days when you had to remain eating conventional iced lollies. This cone's perfect.

(I think he's gone for the time being, so I will end this countdown with a salute to those of you who cracked my hidden code in the number one spot. If you couldn't find it, here's a hint: take a look at the first letter of every third word in the paragraph above. I think I just heard a footstep, so it would probably be best to finish my writing now. This is Caelina Chronicle -- til' next month, Mistica.)
