Sorcery was born in the Victorian ages of Mistica, during the steam and railway revolution. Born into aristocracy and wealth, he took a fascination into dolls and puppets, and even as a young child, owned a countless and diverse collection of beautiful marionettes. His childhood was not a particularly happy time, and the man himself has been dramatically traumatised and disturbed by past memories and events, leading to his manipulative and callous ways. Now working on the high streets and theaters of the lands, he captivates and inspires all who see his puppeting skills. So amazing they are, that some believe he uses a sense of magic to perform, although this has never been proven. Sorcery also owns a puppet shop in Banshee Swamp, but there is air of mystery surrounding his emporium - some believe black magic plays a part...

Friday 13th October, 1813: Today was a strange day, if I say so myself. I was disturbed from my sleep at approximately 5:13AM, so checked outside my emporium. Of course, what did I possibly expect it to be otherwise? A little urchin was wandering around, gazing into the misted windows of my store, nose pressed against the dewed glass. He was there to, without a doubt, try and steal something from the shop.
