Welcome to the Carnival of Rust
Before you stands an idle box. Though the inside is dusty, the deactivated figure is well kept and so lifelike you would swear it was simply asleep. A floppy cap sits askew on its white-covered face, the brightness of its outfit seeming to shine compared to the grey knickknacks that adorn its small habitat. Around its mouth the paint has cracked a bit, the only sign of use to be seen. A NICKEL in your pocket will get you something, though the sign doesn't say what. A small WOMAN stands polishing the side of the box, smiling pleasantly as she goes about her work. She is as oddly painted as the box seems to be; if she weren't moving about, you would almost swear she was a life-sized doll. The carnival attire would almost be out of place if it weren't for your knowledge of what lies beyond the northern doors. This place has always had a bit of a reputation for being weird; the actor before you is probably the most normal of the bunch. You aren't sure if it's one giant circus or it actually succeeds at being a mall. It's one STRANGE PLACE. Either way, you have a few options before you.
