Ashley, like her sister is a scientist. However, Ashley mostly works with animals. Although she is not one of those who tests on animals, she does work for the people who do. Ashley, however, prefers to work on a more observation basis, and even more so, prefers to be out in the field watching animals in their natural environment instead of in a lab or artificial environment. She doesn't complain however, or at least, not out loud. Though she doesn't put as much dedication into what her employers assign her to, she does put a good load of effort into her own personal work, and will often stay up at odd hours of the day just to be able to study the habits of nocturnal animals.
However, if you ever meet Ashley in person, she may seem to be a bit cold-hearted. This is the perception she gives at least, although, she just simply has a low tolerance for one species; man. She doesn't like people not for who they are, but what they are. This doesn't mean that she'll hate you forever though, as once you get past this cold barrier, she can be rather nice. In fact, if you know how to talk 'Ashley' she can actually be quite fun. She has a bit of a hard humor, and it's sometimes dry and morbid, but once you get to know her, she can actually be quite fun and will sometimes be convinced to go to 'mingling areas' (aka: parties/clubs/etc.)
Like her sister, Ashley has a gift, she can hear and speak to animals. As well as like her sister, she uses this to her advantage to better understand them. Though, this also makes her a vegetarian of sorts, as she often feels bad for eating animals she gets to know on a personal level. Though, after speaking with a few of the more carnivorous beasts of the world, she has come to learn that its a process that must occur, and although wolves will kill their fellow creatures, they waste nothing and eventually give back to the deer or elk when their bodies are laid to rest in the earth. You know, the whole circle of life bit. So, she's technically not afraid to eat meat, and will sometimes, but has her limits.
Besides her work, Ashely is a book junkie, though, the only books she ever reads are usually journals and biographies of animals, as she is continuously aiming to learn more about her environment and the animals within it. She is currently writing her own journals and extracts about animals, though, it's taking her longer than usual because of the constant travel. She doesn't mind though, just knows there's more to learn then she could ever write down.
