People around me keep going...
January 20th
I visited my grandmother today. She lives in a small village in a remote area. As I knocked on the iron door, light footsteps answered. After a high-pitched screech, the door was thrusted open. I smiled as I saw the small woman, hunched over and wearing a minute smile. Her hair was in a diminutive bun and everything about her seemed tiny. She held my hand, and so many memories of my childhood flashed back.
Gran poured us tea, after refusing my offer to do it for her. Still grinning, she sat on the loveseat and watched me. I told her about how I moved out of my parents' house, since they were gone out all the time anyway. After a good while, she directed me to a funky drawer, crooked and poking out. Inside was a photo of a man; I recognized him as being my grandfather. She told me how before he died -- when I was still an infant -- he wanted me to have a letter.
"What is inside it?"
"I don't know. It's addressed to you."
I immediately felt fear contract around me.
February 2nd
Ryan Maer. That is the name of my grandfather. He addressed the letter to "Erin Lear." But why me? In the sealed envelope read this message:
Erin,
Death is coming. A woman... (there were many illegible scribbles) in my house. Cursed cursed cursed. Dark magic. She's using dark magic.
Save the rest before it's too late.

A black design was stamped in the corner of the letter.
March 19th
Gran died. I was the only one who attended the funeral.
I visited my parents.
Only my mother was there, and she said while sobbing that Richard, my step-father, had passed away from some uncomprehensible disease.
June 6th
I'm noticing black and red dots forming on my fingers.
Mum moved somewhere far away. She must've gotten lonely.
I've lost track of time
I think the curse has come to kill me. Every night, I see her invading my dreams. The rash on my arms has gotten worse.
I've lit incense to try keep the monsters away. It's lonely here in my little shack.
