Formerly an ordinary human, Brio fell in love with Aster after spotting the lovely queen strolling in a park. They spoke, and he was immediately smitten. He waited for her every night in the same spot for a week, and Aster came faithfully...and then stopped. Far too stubborn to give up, Brio took her absence as a challenge. He knew Aster wasn't of the mortal world and every night, he would shout to the heavens, until Aster became so tired of him that she sent a spectacular lightning storm to strike him down. But Brio's spirit seemed to change that night, breaking from its human body to something of Aster's realm, and she finally recognized him as a man not to be trifled with or ignored. Having earned the respect of the Queen of the Vaulted Courts, Brio was taken to Aster's home, and were married amongst the stars.
