Arrowswirl was born to a legandary pack of Cheran known as the guardians and he was destined for great things. His father, the king, his mother, the queen of the guardians, they knew he was to be sent to a mistican to be their protector. The question remained, was he to be a daydream, or a nightmare? The choice was never theirs, even though his parents were both nightmare cheran, that did not mean for a second that he was destined to be one too, right? Once Arrowswirl turned 100 and his mother and father sent him out on his own to find his mistican, he became worried. Who would he find? Would they change his mind on who he was meant to be? The first night alone was always the worst. He was terrified. Would he be who his parents wanted him to be? Or would he become a daydream and follow his misticans path. After a few years, he realized that it wasn't in his hands anymore and that he needed to let it go, so thats what he did. He moved on with his life in search of mistica. Along his way, he met a pack of Haruba and they lead him to their master. They refused to say anything bad of her, but he continued to wonder anyways. It was a few days before they reached her, but he learned much about her pack. There was Clayster and Mboze, the papa bears, as they refered to themselves as. They were the oldest Haruba that the mistican had gained in her travels. There was Kalista, the baby, who was quick in knowledge and loved her little fairy friend. And last but not least, Chlo, the terror. He has not been around her the most, but he considered himself the protector. Whenever the young mistican found herself in trouble, Chlo always managed to get her out of the same trouble. After the days of travel came to an end, they closed in on a small looking mistican with kind eyes and a smile as wide as the sea. As the harubas all crowded her and she gave them the attention they craved, she turned her kind eyes on the Cheran "Hello, sir" she gave a small curtsy to him as she slowly moved closer and smiled simply. The cheran gave a curt nod of the head, still not too sure what he was to expect of the mistican just yet. As time went on, though, and his parents began to question his antics, he realized how much he belonged with the young mistican. One night, once she had finished putting Kalista to bed, he approached her with a small bow. In return, as always, she would curtsy and sit so she was seeing eye to eye with him. "I just have a quick quesiton" Arrowswirl motioned with his paw to the chairs outside and began to head that way as he engaged her in conversation "I realize this is an odd question, and I am fully away that I have been here long enough, but I just wanted to know your name?" He felt silly asking, but he had not caught it within the others chatter. As a small giggle erupt from her lips she turned and smiled "Of course its not an odd question! Im Claws" She pat the cherans head "Now, I have a question for you" She set her mouth in a strait line before asking "Ive heard about your people, how did it come to be that you were sent here and who are you determined to be?" The question hit home for the cheran as his bluish eyes turned grey and he began his story about his parents. To his surprise, she listened and offered a strange amount of comfort when she felt he needed it, when he was done his story, she turned to him "Do you know who your mistican is?" She turned her kind eyes to his as he nodded softly and placed his front paws to her feet in a deep bow "I believe its you, Claws" Ever since that moment, Arrowswirl could always be found at Claws' side, he was her guardian. He was her saving grace and more and more every day he felt better. He knew he would upset his parents but on the day of his 200th birthday, he knew Claws would request for him to become a Daydream.
