Brael Winning Entry

Zing! Spreee! Whoosh! And a squeal!? Light emitted from underneath a heavy wooden door as well as mysterious aromas. There really wasn't any other light except from whatever was happening on the other side of that door. Shapes and figures were barely recognizable, but when he came to, he was able to smell out chairs and tables. A shop, perhaps? Night had came abruptly and really, he had no sense of time or what was really going on.

A Daydream Banji lifted one neck and another rose with the same confusion. Their wings outstretched and they stumbled to get right on their feet. "Where are we, Jat?"

"I don't know, Vat! I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. Something is happening beyond that door though!"

Vat pulled forward, being the braver personality here but Jat quickly restrained backwards dare not setting forth.

"Vat, do you think that's a very good idea? Where is Zax and Aax? Are they ok?!" Jat, the beta of the two, lowered his head onto the ground in fear of the ideas traveling through his mind of all the wrong inflicted upon his friends.

"It's ok, it's ok!" reassured Vat. He continued to pull forward and Jat did not pull back this time. "We just have to get through that door. Don't you smell it? It smells a lot like trees at Tormic's! I think we're in a shop! It's ok, brother, we can do this!"

Jat abruptly halted but Vat continued not realising that there was a broom in front of them. Bumping into the broom, the broom fell to the side and crashed onto some sort of glass causing a massive spill which produced the most wretched smell the two have ever expirienced in their short little lives.

"Why did you do that?!" spat Jat.

"Well, you stopped and I didn't know why! What is that awful smell?! We need to get out of here!" said Vat.

The commotion had caught the attention of a creature who halted what she was doing. She gently set down her ladle that had been used to stir a large cauldron of potion she was brewing for tomorrow's customers. Gracefully, she swept pass her shelves and racks of potions already concocted to peer out the small peep-hole she could use to check on the lobby of her shop.

"What's this?" She pushed on the wooden door to encounter a sight she was not quite expecting.

"Now what do we have here? A Daydream Banji? And broken potions?! Oh, this will not do. This will definitely not do!" Elenyona shook her head in disapproval but she was secretly just giving the small Misticpal a hard time.

Elenyona smelled richly of spices and flowers. She had a whacky presence but the tone of her voice mislead the Daydream Banji into a small panick.

"I-I-I'm so sorry! You see, my br-brother here, yeah, my brother, we knocked into something and I'm just... I'm just so sorry!" cried Jat. He lowered his head to the ground like he had done before, signifying that he was not only scared but very sincere.

"No! It wasn't my fault!" argued Vat. "I didn't see it infront of me! And my brother just stopped all of a sudden!" Vat turned displeased to Jat.

"Well, how am I going to make up for my loss inventory? My potions are in high demand. How on earth can I make this up to my customers?" calmly said Elenyona. The Banji could not see that she was smirking.

"We will find money! We will pay you! Anything! I am so sorry! It's my brothers fault! We will do anything! Just please, don't use any of your potions on us!" The excitement in Jat's hearth caused the two to feel slightly faint until their small body hit the floor beside the broken glass.

"Oh, these two. Beautiful and so sweet!" Elenyona picked them up and whisked them away to the back. "Lucky these two to have fainted in a potion shop! What a dangerous place though for such a beautiful little Pal. Or shall I say pals?" She chuckled and laid them on a counter then left to go search for the right potion. Oh the things to happen in the wee hours of the morning!
