Patriot Winning Entry

It was a vacation to the river. There was more unknown faces than familiar ones, it was way too hot to even want to live, and, to add onto that, Google refused to get in the water today. The Obsideon sighed, curling up into a tighter ball. She had become practically immobile, pretty much boiling in the heat.

It seemed calm when...
SPLASH!
Google scrambled up, wide-eyed. Clumsy was in the water, a Stignightus-in-the-headlights look. "S-sorry! It was an accident!" He stumbled back into the water, almost terrified.
Google grinned, eyes narrowing. "I take it this is an accident too?" She leaped into the water, sending a tidal wave at Clumsy. He let out a playful growl, swimming off and kicking water back at her. "Pfft, can't catch me now~" Google flashed him an evil smile, diving down. She stalked up on him from underneath the water, slowly, as to not be seen.

Clumsy let out a happy sigh, floating on his back. "I take it I win, Googley-google?" He looked around, realizing she wasn't there. "...Google?"

Google was /riight/ by him, waiting for the right moment. When he calmed back down, she jumped out, pouncing on him. The Tarinooki was sent into the water, in a coughing and spluttering fit. "I win~" Google said when he had got (most) of the water out.

Clumsy rolled his eyes, although snickering a bit. "Unfairness, I tell you. Unfair!" He grumbled, looking up at the sky. It was getting towards sunset. A lot of the other pets had left, they were one of the few left. Google grumbled, climbing up on shore. "C'mon, let's go." she said, flicking her tail at him. Clumsy reluctantly followed, leaning on her. "I had fun today, though~" he said, yawning.
