Secrets of Jumboyo Village
Written By Faint

Eerie, mysterious, mystifying -- words often used to describe Jumboyo Village, a place shrouded by colorful masks and strange symbols in the dirt. No one has ever known the truth behind the stories and myths that surround the strange village.

Recently, Jumboyo's Chief was able to shed some light on the subject.

He approached the Mistican Interviewers when they were surveying the Village on August 17th. The team was baffled by the knowledge they were able to gain.

One question we had was why there were only four requirements to adopt a Jumboyo pet. The answer is apparently quite simple.

The design in the dirt, in the middle of the village, forms a symbol that looks oddly similar to the number four.

The Jumboyo Chief explained that four is a sacred number to the Jumboyo people.

Four talismans are required to adopt a Jumboyo pet. However, something strange surrounds these objects.

Each one covers a different place on its face, almost as if it's hiding something. However, despite their attempts, we were unable to determine if this was true. Thankfully, the Chief was able to enlighten the team.

"Each object covers its face, shielding it from every other place."

As it turns out, these Talismans are found solely in Jumboyo Village. What the Chief meant by "shielding it from every other place" is that the Talismans can only be made and used in Jumboyo Village; they are completely useless elsewhere.

Most of the requirements use the number four or imply the use of that number. Strangely enough, four is usually very unlucky, a number associated with death, but the Jumboya have always been known for their fearlessness and prowess in battle. They’re very superstitious, and could be using the number four to weaken its supposed unlucky powers.

One of the requirements is to post in the forums four hundred and forty four times. Another requirement does not use the number four outright, but it strongly implies it.

"Show your wisdom; outsmart a quiz giver more than thrice."

Four requirements are needed out of five. Four out of the five use or imply the involvement of the number four, a symbol that looks almost identical to the number in the dirt.

The ways of the Jumboyo Village and indeed, all of the unique pets and pals it’s home to, are still mostly unknown. Jumboyo shamans wouldn’t let us speak to them about this odd occurrence of the number four, and the Chief didn’t elaborate any further than the basic points given in this article.
