Dreams of the Gourix
Written By TheBrokenFox

What did your Gourix dream about when they were young? Was it pleasant, evil, humbling, crazy, or seemingly irrelevant? I’m here to sort out the questions that plaque many Gouran. Here you’ll find many of the basic dream components that I’ve gathered from many different areas of the dream planes had by many Gouran from all around Mistica. This is the first of two segments, starting at the most popular dream signs and going from A to M.

Abandonment:
If your Gourix remembers a traumatic abandonment, then he or she may interpret this as a symbol that they need to leave behind resentment or bad experiences to move forward in life. This can be a liberating symbol that creates the mental capability to live freely. It is common for Gourix that have natal dreams related to abandonment to have trust issues or the inability to bond closely with others if taken negatively early on.

Backflips:
It may sound odd, but many Gouran have a central theme of doing backflips in their dreams. A positive outlook that some have is that they have a lot of mental flexibility and physical strength. Others have taken this as a sign that they want to please others too much and can be taken advantage of too easily.

Costumes and costume parties:
To wear a costume means to be secretive. Wearing a costume at a party or remembering specifically a masquerade can also be translated as the aptitude to be fun loving and carefree. This interpretation has often lead Gouran to be languid about daily responsibilities.

Destruction:
The memory of mass destruction usually manifests in one of two different ways. The positive take of this dream sign is that the Gouran will find tranquility in chaos, that they can find a way to survive even if things get rough. The negative aspect of this sign is that life may not end the way he or she planned, or that they will have self-destructive tendencies.

Earthquakes:
Feeling terror in a dream that stems from earthquakes can mean that your Gourix has trouble overcoming extreme stressors in their life. It makes them uneasy with decision making and those hard questions in life. On the other hand, if your Gourix found cover or felt they survived the quake, it can mean they feel grounded and can stay calm under pressure.

Family:
Being nurtured or the act of nurturing those in a perceptive family can be indicative of your Gourix’s need to feel wanted, to belong. It can be a symbol of love, warmth, and a positive direction in his or her life. However, if there are feelings of jealousy, hatred, or abandonment, then this can be a negative connotation that can lead them to be distant from people or distrust them.

Gambling:
Gouran that dream of gambling can lead lives based on chance. They take risks openly and boldly. This can also develop into compulsive lives that are self-destructive or leave too much to chance.

Hearth:
Dreaming of a hearth has usually lead Gouran to be very nurturing and family oriented. They take pleasure knowing that close family and friends are comfortable and appeased. This type of natal dream can also lead Gourix to be too trusting of others. Others are able to take advantage of their generosity easily.

Ivy:
Fast growing ivy vines resemble the longevity and immortality of the earth. Gouran that have these dreams often look for one partner to share their life with. This can also be a symbol of dependency or clinginess, which may be a fault in their lives to come. If the ivy is withered or dying, it could mean that he or she will experience a great loss, such as that of a good friend or close love.

Jewelry:
Jewelry is a sign of vanity. Some Gouran say that it led them to take pleasure in the finer things in life. Others have said that it made them very self-conscious about their appearance. Broken jewelry in a dream has led others to believe that taking anything too seriously can be damaging. Therefore, they lead carefree lives in the pursuit of being happy no matter the cost.

Kaleidoscope:
Natal dreams that center on a kaleidoscope or those where the Gourix looked through a kaleidoscope means that they will lead full, colorful lives if they see it as a positive symbol. Other Gouran have said that the chaos and ever changing shapes made them uncomfortable with change, and therefore, they seek to live as structured as possible.

Lizards:
These reptiles being a central theme often lead Gouran to feel that they are compelled to live by instinct. They follow their guts and feel that they are well grounded and creative in general. A less positive interpretation is that the lizard means they are to be cold-blooded or thick-skinned. It can also mean they should be fearful of large obstacles.

Moon:
Gouran who have seen the moon and feel it was the central theme of their dreams often feel that mystery surrounds their life. A more feminine symbol, it has been known to enhance the awareness of emotions, both those of themselves and those of others. Clouds that shadow the moon seem to be a foreboding symbol; most Gouran that have remembered such dreams are pessimistic or very secretive concerning their personal lives.
